Have to agree with the fact that old school Metallica was awesome. My favorite album is Master of Puppets with Cliffs masterpiece Orion And I wouldn't say that they aren't good anymore, they simply changed their style. A part of Metallica died with Cliff and the other part with Jason. Cliff was a freak that could come up with some songs and was more creative then Jason, but Newkid was the best when it came to live performance. Lets wait for the next album and see if Metallica is still alive.

It's not that they are baaaad, but they lost track of that rough wildness, you know. Now it is a little too plastic... St. Anger is a good album, off course... on the other hand it's like they wanted to do something so "garage style" and it feels a little too... hmmm... desperated. I love Cliff era, but I disagree that his masterpiece is Orion. I would say Call of Chutuhlluh 'cus after read Lovecrafts novel it is undenyable that they did an amazing epic song.

I follow Trujillos work since Suicidal Tendencies and he is just a great bassist. I've seen him with Metallica 2x and Suicidal Tendencies once. Since he is a true metalhead I hope he can put Metallica back to trail again.

Trujillo will be more into St. Anger style since thats quite close to Suicidal style. I think that St. Anger is a shit album. Just like Lars' dad said, "WTF is that?!" after he heard it for the first time. Orion was his masterpiece since the whole song was writen by him, even the guitar solos for Kirk.

hmmm... if you listen it very carefully you will see that it isn't a bad album. Far better than Load and Reload, for exemple. I don't agree that St. Anger is Trujillo style since S.T. was always more faster than Metallica. I do like Master of Puppets (who doesn't?) but I still like more Ride the Lightning.... hehehhe.... I love Blackened, one of my favs... My favorite of all times is Dyers Even... pity their rarelly play it live.

Well, Load has so really good songs and some really shit ones aswell. Same story with Reload. Stt. Anger, I simply can't figure out, my music taste is rejecting it. Dyers Eve all the way
