This is a simple three steps tutorial showing that many times after scanning your artwork the final result can be poor than the original just because people don't really know how to use their own scanners.

Thanks for writing this tutorial, I'm still learning how to scan things properly - Up until this point I was making most of my adjustments after scanning in Photoshop.

I hope it helped you. Just one more tip: try to always do the contrast BEFORE scan your artwork... If you do it after, you will loose alot of definition. ;)

haha: my scanner has a little checkmark you can click that adds the PERFECT contrast right after I scan it! only problem is my scanner is kinda small :(

This was for me :D Seriously I have always problems regardind the quality of my scanned drawings... so thank you ;) And the scanner settings are in italian... could this tutorial be better?:D Thank you very much!

but don't forget to not saturate it too much otherwise tiny details will desappear and it will look really strange. :D
